Powder Brows
Powder Brows are created with a micropigmentation machine and it is recommended for customers that want a soft or darker ombre makeup look.
Microblading
Microblading is a form of permanent makeup where a small blade is used to create thin hair-like strokes throughout a persons brows, giving the illusion of a full, natural brow.
Lip Blush
Lip blush is a semi-permanent makeup treatment that enhances the natural color of the lips. Lip blushing technique gives a soft lip tint effect, rather than a full-on, opaque lipstick look.
PMU Removal
The tattoo and PMU removal technique is a method of tattoo and PMU ink extraction which is designed to remove tattoo and permanent makeup (PMU) ink pigments from the body.
Eyeliner
Eyeliner is a Permanent Cosmetic makeup also called Tattooed Eyeliner. Micro-droplets of colored pigments are inserted between your lashes and under the skin with a manual tool.
Combo Brows
Combo Brows is a mix of Microblading with the Powder fill technique using a permanent makeup machine, similar to a standard tattoo machine, but with a finer needle, or manual shading. This procedure will create a fuller look and is best for most skin types.

Janis
Founder of The Afterglow Effect, Janis Wong is a licensed Permanent Makeup Artist and Aesthetician with extensive experience and education in both subjects. She’s a Clackamas, Oregon native and began pursuing her passion 14 years ago working as a Makeup Artist for companies like Gene Juarez, MAC, and Benefit. She continued to expand her education in beauty by earning her esthetics license at Gary Manual Aveda Institute in 2016, and obtaining her tattoo license for Microblading. She has successfully expanded her business to major cities like Seattle, Las Vegas and Los Angeles. In 2020, she opened her first beauty salon in her hometown and has recruited many talented artists to join her team. Janis has since been certified over 10 times and trained over 100 students in permanent makeup and lashes. She’s devoted to exceeding your expectations from the moment you meet her.
